The MTA and five Long Island Rail Road unions have reached a deal, ending the LIRR strike after three days, Gov. Kathy Hochul said Monday.
“Tonight, the @MTA reached a fair deal with the five LIRR unions that delivers raises for workers while protecting riders and taxpayers,” Hochul wrote on social media.
According to the governor, “phased” LIRR service will resume Tuesday at noon.
