FORDHAM, the Bronx (PIX11) — One man died, and another was injured after the two stabbed each other during a fight on a Bronx street early Tuesday morning, police and sources said.
Officers found Luis Almanzar, 34, with stab wounds to the torso and right arm in front of his apartment building on Marion Avenue in Fordham at around 12:24 a.m., according to the NYPD.
The 32-year-old man Almanzar was fighting with was stabbed in the back, police said.
Both men were rushed to the hospital, where Almanzar died. The 32-year-old man survived the attack, police said.
The men did not know each other, and it was unclear what sparked the dispute, according to the NYPD.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
