CITYWIDE — BROOKLYN FILM CAMERA, Instant Film Society and Polaroid host Polacon this weekend, beginning with the original New York City Ghostbusters tour on Thursday and continuing through Sunday with a variety of analog photography activities and events.
Experts will lead demonstrations, workshops and photo tours throughout the borough, including tintype portraiture, experimental techniques on film, artist talks, and a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. The organizers include East Williamsburg’s staple for analog photography fans, Brooklyn Film Camera, which was an instrumental part of the resurgence of Polaroid and film photography in the city.
Day-long and weekend-long passes are available, along with more information, on Eventbrite.
