New York school budget results come in
With the state budget more than one month overdue, school districts have had to craft budgets by estimating the amount of state funding they will receive.

Voters across New York State showed up at the polls on Tuesday to consider local school budget proposals. It was a challenging budget cycle for local school districts. The superintendent for the Beekmantown School District previously told NBC5 that the standstill over the state budget in Albany, which is now nearly two months overdue, has forced districts to estimate how much state funding they will receive.Despite the challenges, Beekmantown’s budget passed on Tuesday by a vote of 419 to 163.
