A Queens man was arrested for a residential burglary that occurred on December 19, 2025, at 6:27 p.m. in Syosset, according to Nassau County police

Ronald Suarez was charged with second-degree burglary and has an arrest warrant for grand larceny out of New York City. He was arraigned on Friday, May 15 at First District Court.

Detectives said Ronald Suarez, 40, unlawfully entered a Syosset residence and removed jewelry and currency totaling approximately $210,000. On May 14, 2026, after an extensive investigation, the defendant was located and placed under arrest by detectives from the major case squad.

Further investigation revealed that the defendant is in the United States illegally and is subject to removal proceedings, police said.
