Saturday’s “Longest Table,” sponsored by the Brooklyn Heights Association, was blessed by good weather and drew such a crowd that it had to be expanded. Originally intended to take up Remsen Street from Hicks to the Promenade entrance, the length of Montague Terrace, from Remsen to Montague Street, was added. I took the photo above, looking up Remsen from the corner of Montague Terrace. The event was covered in depth by Mary Frost in the Eagle, who provides much detail and many more photos.
