NEW YORK (PIX11) — Major subway disruptions have developed as severe thunderstorms and torrential downpours moved through the region on Wednesday.
Service is partially suspended for the F and J lines in Brooklyn and Queens, according to the MTA website. The E, M, and R lines are running, but with service changes as well

F train service
The F line is suspended at Kew Gardens-Union Tpke and Jamaica-179 St Station.
Most Jamaica-bound F trains will end at Court Sq-23 St, Queens Plaza, or Forest Hills-71 Av.
Some Jamaica-bound F trains will end at Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer on the E.
Some Jamaica-bound F trains are rerouted via Roosevelt Island from 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Center to 21 St-Queensbridge, where they will end and turn back for downtown service.
Commuters are advised to listen for crew announcements to hear how their train will run.
E train service
Most Jamaica-bound E will end at Court Sq-23 St, Queens Plaza, or Forest Hills-71 Av.
Some Jamaica-bound E trains will end at 168 St on the C line or Bedford Park Blvd on the D line.
M train service
Some Forest Hills-bound M trains will end at Essex St, Chambers St on the J line, 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr, or 21 St-Queensbridge.
R train service
Forest Hills-bound R trains will end at 34 St-Herald Square, Queens Plaza, or 96 Street on the Q line, where they will turn back for downtown service.
J train service
The J train is suspended between Crescent St. and Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer.
Jamaica-bound J trains will end either at Broadway Junction or Crescent St., where they will turn back for Broad St-bound service.
Flooding is being reported at the Sutphin Blvd/Archer Av-JFK Airport station, the MTA says.
Riders are advised to take the Q24 or Q56 bus as an alternate.
