CLAREMONT, Bronx (PIX11) — Shots were fired early Thursday morning in the Bronx, hitting an 18-year-old and damaging an FDNY ambulance, according to the NYPD.

The incident happened near 1345 Webster Avenue around 12:18 a.m.

According to the police, the victim was shot in the abdomen, and upon further investigation, an FDNY ambulance sustained property damage to the rear and front windshields of the vehicle.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.

Two FDNY employees were transported to a local hospital for evaluation; no injuries were reported.

Investigations are ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
