MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was arrested Wednesday night in connection with an incident that occurred over the weekend in Riley County, officials said.
The arrested man was identified as Anthony John Lyons, 50, of Leonardville.
Authorities said that Riley County police officers filed a report of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer and fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer around 9:57 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, in Leonardville.

A 54-year-old man and 43-year-old man were listed as the victims in the case.
Lyons was arrested around 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road in Manhattan in connection with two counts of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer and one count of fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer.
Lyons was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remained Thursday morning in the Riley County Jail in Manhattan.
