NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — On Memorial Day, the streets of New York City will be bustling with numerous parades, commemorating military personnel who died while serving the country.
New Yorkers traveling to the parades or along the parade routes should plan ahead, as the NYPD will close certain streets.

Forest Hills Memorial Day Weekend Parade – Sunday
Formation: Metropolitan Avenue between 75th Avenue and Ascan Avenue

Brooklyn’s 159th Memorial Day Parade – Monday
