TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A train derailment in Toledo shut down part of East Manhattan Boulevard for several hours overnight, but traffic is now back to normal.
Toledo police and Toledo Fire and Rescue responded to the scene shortly after midnight. Video from the area near East Manhattan Boulevard and New York Avenue around 4 a.m. showed crews working to move the train and reopen the road.
As of mid-morning, there are no closures to report.
Officials have not said what caused the derailment. We’ve reached out to Canadian National, the company that owns the train, and have not heard back.
