On this week’s “In Focus,” NY1’s Cheryl Wills sits down with the Mayor’s Office of Equity and Racial Justice Chief Equity Officer and Commissioner Afua Atta-Mensah to discuss the city’s new racial equity plan.

Atta-Mensah explains that the plan, created within 100 days, involves 45 agencies and 200 staff members and focuses on equitable policies, budgets, staffing and services.

She says it addresses seven priority areas, including economics, housing and community safety.
