BROOKLYN – A. Fantis School is proudly presenting the production of Willy Wonka Jr. on Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 28 at 6 PM in the school’s auditorium, at 195 State Street, Brooklyn.
Directed by Marisa Stefatos, this school production brings Roald Dahl’s beloved story of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ to life, where it tells the story of Charlie Bucket, a kind-hearted boy from a humble family who dreams of a better life.

When the mysterious candy maker Willy Wonka announces a contest inviting five lucky children to tour his legendary chocolate factory, Charlie finds himself holding one of the coveted Golden Tickets.
Inside the factory, Charlie and his fellow winners embark on a magical journey through a world of pure imagination, filled with edible delights, fantastical inventions, and the whimsical Oompa-Loompas. As the tour unfolds, each child’s true character is revealed, and their flaws lead to unexpected consequences.

Through it all, Charlie’s honesty, generosity, and optimism shine brightly, proving that good things come to those with a kind heart. Packed with unforgettable songs, colorful characters, and a touch of magic, Willy Wonka Jr. is a delightful tale about integrity, imagination, and the sweetest rewards of all.
Stefatos noted: “Our students have been working incredibly hard to bring this imaginative world to life through music, movement, and storytelling,” and looked forward to everyone seeing the production come to life.
