BRONX, N.Y (PIX11)— Bronx Terminal Market has been selected as the official NYNJ World Cup 26 Bronx Fan Zone.
The market will live stream the FIFA World Cup games on Rooftop Level 6. The free event is open to the public, and World Cup matches will be streamed on a giant screen.
The fan zone will feature games, arts and crafts, a live DJ and other surprises.
Beginning June 13, doors will open at 1 p.m. The first matches shown will be Qatar vs. Switzerland at 3 p.m., followed by Brazil vs. Morocco at 6 p.m.
On Sunday, June 14, the fan zone will stream Germany vs. Curaçao at 1 p.m. and Netherlands vs. Japan at 4 p.m.
Bronx Terminal Market is located at 610 Exterior St.
Food will be available from restaurants and Boogie Down Food Hall vendors, including Applebee’s, Marisco Centro, Wingstop, Bubble Tea 101, Empanada RD, Food Bazaar, Hunny, Juici Patties, Noodle Craft, Rice & Peas & Tings, Rokstar Chicken, Taco Mix and Teriyaki Go.
