STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.—White Castle will honor veterans and active-duty military personnel with a free combo meal on Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11.
The family-owned burger chain is offering a complimentary individual combo or breakfast combo at participating locations. Veterans and service members just need to show a military ID—no purchase required.
“At White Castle, we’re honored to recognize the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country with courage and devotion,” said Jamie Richardson, White Castle vice president. “This meal is a small way to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation.”
As part of the celebration, White Castle will serve its signature Sliders in limited-edition patriotic packaging, featuring red and white stripes beneath the logo and 50 white stars on a navy-blue background.
Staten Island has one borough location: 2221 Hylan Blvd., Grant City.

One standout is William Seaquist of Great Kills, who in 2012 won Sliders for life through the chain’s “Craver Nation” rewards program. His prize? $13,500 in gift certificates, handed to him at the Grant City location.
Seaquist’s love for the brand even landed him in a 2020 Thrillist documentary and followups, which featured scenes around Staten Island and a visit to White Castle’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, where he met top executives.
Founded in 1921 in Wichita, Kansas, White Castle is America’s first fast-food hamburger chain.
