SUNSET PARK — POLICE ARE SEARCHING for a man suspected of pulling out a knife and slashing a 36-year-old victim in the hand in Sunset Park on Saturday, Oct. 25, around 2:30 a.m.Â
Police said the male victim was in front of a Mexican restaurant at 1004 4th Ave. when he got into a verbal dispute with the unidentified suspect. A physical altercation ensued, and the attacker displayed the knife and slashed the victim. The individual then fled the location on foot, traveling in an unknown direction.Â
EMS transported the victim to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in stable condition. The suspect is described as having a medium complexion and medium build, and is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall.
