In 2024, the Pittsburgh Steelers gave linebacker Patrick Queen the richest external deal in team history, signing the former Baltimore Ravens first-round pick to a three-year, $41 million deal.
Queen was a Pro Bowl selection in his first season with Pittsburgh, registering 129 total tackles and forcing two fumbles. He followed that up with a 120-tackle season in 2025.
“There were talks here and there,” Queen said. “Nothing crazy… no movement either way. At the end of the day, they got business to handle, I got business to handle. My business is to go out there and play the best football I can and put myself in a good position [and] put our team in a good position.”
Queen also alluded to being aware of trade rumors that took place ahead of the draft.
“Obviously I [saw] the whole charade that went on in the offseason,” Queen said.
