Ariana, what are you doing here? Ryan Murphy is staging a Scream Queens reunion in American Horror Story season 13, with Ariana Grande joining Emma Roberts and Billie Lourd in the cast. We’ve got every Chanel except No. 5. In fact, a bunch of Murphy-verse regulars are returning after varying lengths of absence. Evan Peters is coming back to AHS after dipping out post Double Feature. Jessica Lange hasn’t been seen on the show since her guest appearance on Apocalypse in 2018. She hasn’t been a main player since Freak Show. Sarah Paulson (most recently of All’s Fair), Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, and Leslie Grossman are also back, along with Kathy Bates.
American Horror Story season 13 is officially set for Halloween 2026. Peters previously hinted at something in the works at the Emmys, when presenting Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series with his Horror Story bestie, Paulson. All we know at the moment is the names listed above, and a song: Vera Lynn’s version of “I’ll Be Seeing You,” a ditty about hallucinating a past lover everywhere you go. A clip shared by Ryan Murphy Productions ends with Madison Montgomery’s iconic “Surprise, bitch. I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.” Well, yeah.
