MANHATTAN (KSNT) – Police arrested a man in Manhattan after they said he allegedly left four children in a hot vehicle for an extended amount of time Wednesday.
The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) said its officers filed a report for multiple counts of aggravated endangering of a child just after 11:25 a.m. on May 27 in the 100 block of Bluemont Avenue in Manhattan. Police reported four victims associated with this case: a five-year-old boy, a four-year-old girl, a two-year-old girl and an 11-month-old boy.
The RCPD said it received a report of the four children being left unattended inside of a hot vehicle for an extended period of time. Officers arrested a 36-year-old Fort Riley man at 12:35 p.m. on May 27 in connection to the incident on four counts of aggravated endangering of a child.
