TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was being held on a $100,000 bond in the Riley County Jail after he was arrested in connection with child sex crimes Thursday in Manhattan, authorities said.
The arrested man was identified as Kirk Lee Hartgenbush, 64, of Manhattan.
Riley County Police officials said Hartgenbush was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at a mobile home park in the 700 block of Allen Road, on the northeast side of Manhattan.

Hartgenbush was subsequently booked into the Riley County Jail, where he was being held Friday in connection with 24 counts of sexual exploitation of a child — possession of media of a child under the age of 18.
