A manhunt is underway for two groups of suspects involved in a reckless shooting that damaged an MTA bus in East New York.
Police responded to reports of shots fired just before 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the corner of Flatlands Avenue and Williams Avenue, according to police.
An NYPD spokesperson said four suspects were involved in a dispute at the location when one individual fired a gun. The bullet struck a B103 bus but no injuries were reported. A firearm was recovered at the scene.

No arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
The shooting comes as gun violence has increased in the 75th Precinct this year. According to the latest NYPD crime statistics available through May 24, shootings in the precinct are up 25% year to date, with 20 incidents reported so far in 2026, compared with 16 during the same period last year.
