The homeowners at Port Liberte have been at odds with Pulte Homes New Jersey, the developer of Liberty Watch — the final project planned for this gated community — for more than a year. If Tuesday’s Planning Board meeting is anything to go by, the two sides are unlikely to soon find compromises to the many issues that divide them, chiefly property maintenance, flood mitigation, and traffic — issues that prevented the board from taking a vote on Liberty Watch.
