STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The borough’s Community Boards have several meetings scheduled next week on housing developments, business garbage collection and a major parkway repaving project.

The following is a list of all Staten Island Community Board meetings scheduled for next week, as provided by representatives from each board.

Community Board 1

The Land Use Committee will meet via Microsoft Teams at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2. Meeting ID: 286 136 122 992 621. Passcode: Xi7Av7Vn.

The agenda is packed with development proposals.

St. Peter’s Boys High School, New Brighton, is seeking approval for an expansion that would add classrooms and other facilities.

A new building for the Goodhue Commnity Center, New Brighton, is also proposed for 314 Lafayette Ave. The committee will also discuss residential upgrades for properties at 23 and 51 Cedarcliff Rd.

Near Tompkins Circle, a developer is seeking approval from the City Planning Commission to build a pair of three-story, two-family homes.

A proposal to construct a single-family residence with a swimming pool and basketball court on Howard Avenue is also on the agenda, along with a Board of Standards and Appeals application for a property on Bay Street.

Community Board 2

The Public Service, Traffic and Transportation Joint Committee will meet Monday, June 1, at 7 p.m. on the third floor of 900 South Avenue.

A sanitation official will walk attendees through the city’s Commercial Waste Zone program, which restructures how private carters collect garbage from businesses across the five boroughs.

Community Board 3

The board has three meetings on the schedule, all with public hearings.

The Health and Human Services Committee will meet Tuesday, June 2, at 6:30 p.m. at the board’s office on Woodrow Road. No agenda items have been announced.

On Wednesday, June 3, the Traffic and Transportation Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the CYO-MIV Community Center, Prince’s Bay, where state transportation officials will present plans for repaving and improving the Korean War Veterans Parkway.

That same evening, following the transportation meeting, the Community Alliance Committee will take up an application for a cannabis shop proposed for Amboy Road.
