With the San Antonio Spurs getting past the Oklahoma City Thunder in a 111-103 Game 7 victory, the matchup in the NBA Finals has been decided. Fans will see the Silver and Black face off against the New York Knicks in hopes of taking home the team’s first title since 2014. Here’s when things tip off.

The NBA Finals begin with Game 1 on Wednesday, June 3. It will be a home game here in San Antonio at the Frost Bank Center, and all games are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT. Game 2 — another battle in the Frost Bank Center — kicks off at. 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 5. The Spurs will travel to Madison Square Garden on Sunday, June 7, and Tuesday, June 9, for Games 3 and 4.

Should Games 5, 6 or 7 be necessary, the teams will alternate cities for each game, starting with San Antonio for Game 5.

ABC and ESPN are the “exclusive home of the NBA Finals” — that means San Antonio fans with cable can watch the game on the local ABC affiliate as well as with Hulu+Live TV, YouTube TV, Fubo TV and other live TV streaming services. You can also catch it in the ESPN app when logging in with your provider.

San Antonio Spurs vs. New York Knicks

The Spurs and the Knicks met twice during the regular season and split the record. The Spurs took the first game on December 31, 2025, by a small margin: 134-132. The Knicks posted a sound defeat on March 1, besting the Spurs 114-89.

Some fans say this Finals match-up proves the relevance of the NBA Cup, a fairly new in-season tournament that has only been around since 2023. They might have a point — in December 2025, the Spurs beat the Thunder to advance to the NBA Cup final, where they fell to the Knicks, 124-113. The last series of the season will show if history repeats itself.
