CONEY ISLAND — POLICE ON MONDAY ARRESTED Coney Island resident Odyssey Head, 27, the suspect in a series of unprovoked slashings and other criminal acts across Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.
Head was charged with three counts of attempted murder, two counts of burglary, seven counts of assault and arson, along with numerous counts of menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal mischief and criminal trespass. He was wanted in three separate assaults, including the slashing of a 37-year-old man on the Q train near Cortelyou Road, and is also suspected in a Sept. 14 attack on 80-year-old George Henry at a Burlington store in Flatbush, according to News12.
Henry, who was slashed in the neck, told News12 he no longer feels safe leaving home.
