QUEENS, N.Y. — Monsignor Farrell is headed to the CHSAA AA Intersectional championship game after downing St. Francis Prep, 3-2, in a thrilling semifinal Friday evening at St. John’s University.
After regulation ended at 1-1 and two 10-minute golden goal overtimes settled nothing, the Lions kicked home four penalty kicks to SFP’s two, making winners of the Lions.
