Free things to do to celebrate Pride Month in NYC

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Looking for ways to celebrate Pride Month and join in honoring LGBTQ+ rights? Here’s a list of what’s happening across the boroughs this June.

Free Pride Month events in Manhattan:

NYC Pride March: One of the largest Pride marches in the world happening is happening on June 28 , kicking off at noon, beginning on 26th Street and Fifth Avenue and dispersing at 15th Street and Seventh Avenue.

PrideFest Street Fair: Free street festival with vendors, performances and community booths taking place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., June 28 on 4th Avenue from Astor Place to 14th Street.

Youth Pride: Free outdoor event for LGBTQ+ youth and allies taking place on Saturday, June 27 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Seaport Square.

Harlem Pride Celebration Day: Free festival in West Harlem with performances and vendors taking place on June 27, from 12 noon to 6 p.m., on 12th Avenue.

Free Pride Month Events in Brooklyn and Queens

Brooklyn Pride Festival & Twilight Parade: Free daytime festival and evening parade on 5th Ave in Park Slope. The event will take place on Saturday June 13, from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., kicking off at Fifth Avenue from Lincoln Place to 8th Street.

Queens Pride Parade & Festival: Free parade and street fair in Jackson Heights. The parade will happen on June 7, at noon. Kicking off from 89th Street to 75th Street)

Free Pride Month Events in the Bronx

The Bronx LGBT Expo: Free community expo at the YMCA LA Center on 434 Westchester Avenue, happening on June 18, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
