A Staten Island teen dressed in a police officer costume was arrested after actual New Jersey cops say he pulled a knife when denied entry to a Halloween party Friday in Gloucester County, New Jersey.
Police responded to the 300 block of North Main Street at around 1:49 a.m. after the man, identified by police as John Bekhet, 19, was accused of brandishing a knife and making threats, according to a Glassboro Police Department Facebook Post.
Officers who were in the area when the call went out located the suspect and arrested him after a brief foot chase, police said in the post.
Bekhet was detained, police said, and, after further investigation, he was placed under arrest.
Bekhet was charged with third- and fourth-degree counts of terroristic threats, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon and resisting arrest, along with obstruction and disorderly conduct, the police reported.
