The roar of motorcycles filled Lake George this weekend, as tens of thousands of riders gathered for Americade, one of the world’s largest motorcycle touring rallies.
The annual event, which began in 1983, draws motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country for guided rides through the Adirondacks, a bike exposition and other events throughout the village.
One of the most popular attractions is the downtown block party, where crowds pack the motorcycle-lined streets to watch a competitive slow riding competition and a freestyle motorcycle stunt show.
