The line of customers vying for a booth in the stainless steel and neon-adorned eatery was much longer than usual. It snaked out the door, down the stairs and into the parking lot.
It wasn’t a typical Saturday. It was the last Saturday at Miss America Diner, the revered Jersey City restaurant that has served omelettes, patty melts and classic Jersey diner charm for 85 years.
