A man was killed after the four-wheeler he was operating crashed, pinning him underneath.The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened on Cassidy Road in Russell on Tuesday night.When deputies arrived on scene, they found Norman Rafter, 72, unconscious and pinned under an overturned Can-Am Outlander.Investigators determined that Rafter was operating the vehicle when it exited the road, hit a tree and flipped.Rafter died at the scene. An investigation into what caused the crash is ongoing.
