For the first time since 1999, the New York Knicks are headed to the NBA Finals. The series tips off tonight in San Antonio, where the Knicks will begin a potential seven-game showdown with the Spurs. But fans won’t have to make the trip to Texas to be part of the excitement.
Across Brooklyn, bars and venues are hosting Knicks watch parties as the city rallies behind its team’s long-awaited championship run. Here are some local spots to catch Game 1.
The Williamsburg live music and bowling venue will host free, all-ages Knicks watch parties featuring 13 screens, food and drink specials, and lane and table reservations. Doors open at 6 p.m., with local musician and Knicks superfan Duglust performing before tipoff. The venue will also host a Game 2 watch party on Friday, led by Robert “Friday Night Knicks” Randolph.

The venue will host a free Knicks watch party for Game 1 on a 16-foot outdoor projection screen with concert-quality sound. Doors open at 7 p.m., and fans can enjoy drink specials throughout the night while watching under the stars. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, though standing room will also be available. Guests are welcome to bring food from the adjacent food hall. Ages eight and up are welcome with RSVP.

BK Backyard, Williamsburg
With more than 40 TVs and a 20-foot screen, BK Backyard is built for Knicks watch parties. The 17,000-square-foot Williamsburg venue opens at 5 p.m. and offers a family-friendly atmosphere, complete with a playground.
