Flushing Meadows-Corona Park is getting loud this weekend for the annual Governors Ball music festival.
More than 60 artists will take the stage across three days, with headliners including Lorde, ASAP Rocky and Stray Kids. Joining those big names are 30 New York students who participate in School of Rock, a performance-based music education program with schools in Manhattan and Queens.
The founder of Governors Ball, Tom Russell, and the CEO of School of Rock, Bob Jones, joined ‘The Rush Hour” on Wednesday to talk about the festival.
“When you walk in, you can see all the stages, and it’s really easy to navigate.” Russell said. “We also have a lot of incredible things to do beyond the music.”
