Dairy Queen wants you to treat yourself to the summer blizzard flavor that fans have been begging for.

For a limited time only, the Drumstick® Blizzard TreatWith Peanuts has quietly returned to the menu to make summer even more delicious.

“Fresh drop alert,” the post teased on social media, with the franchise noting, “Don’t wait on this one.”

The treat returns as the June Blizzard of the Month, running now through June 30th.

There’s nothing better for a hot summer day—or a warm summer night—than this nostalgic treat, which blends the iconic Nestlé Drumstick cone with Dairy Queen’s signature soft-serve. The result is a rich, layered dessert featuring a chocolate coating, crunchy cone pieces, and peanuts for a perfect sweet-and-salty finish in every bite.

“The DQ® Freezer is opening once again for the sweet release of a highly requested fan favorite. Back for a limited time, the legendary Nestlé ® Drumstick® Blizzard Treat with Peanuts Blizzard® has finally returned!” the website reveals, with sizes ranging from mini, small, medium and large.

“It is always exciting to bring back a fan favorite like the Drumstick Blizzard Treat,” saidLou Romanus, CEO of the Texas Dairy Queen Operators’ Council. “The sweet and salty flavor combination is hard to beat, making it the perfect treat to enjoy with friends and family this month.”

Following its introduction in July 2020, the Drumstick Blizzard Treat has been revived a handful of times as a limited-time summer flavor, making it one of the most requested among customers.

There was plenty of excitement on social media, as one wrote, “One of my favorites!”

Others took to foodie influencer Snach with Zach’s account to reveal, “This blizzard is delicious,” and “I only like a couple of Blizzards and this one is top 3 favourite.”

Even DQ responded, “Some flavors are too iconic to stay in the DQ Freezer forever.”

However, there were plenty of other flavor requests that will hopefully be honored before the scorching summer months come to an end, including the Mixing Bowl Mashup and the Frosted Animal Cookie.
