Three Democratic candidates in the June primary vying for New York’s 7th Congressional District faced off in a 60-minute debate Wednesday on Spectrum News NY1.

The candidates who participated in the debate were Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, state Assemblywoman Claire Valdez and Queens Councilwoman Julie Won. 

There is no incumbent in the race. Rep. Nydia Velázquez, who has served in Congress since 1993, will not seek reelection.

The district includes parts of Brooklyn and Queens.

Early voting for the primary starts on Saturday, June 13, and Election Day is Tuesday, June 23.
