MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A 34-year-old Topeka man has been arrested in Manhattan in connection with a probation violation, officials said.
The arrested man, Gerry Wayne Phillips II, was arrested around 11:46 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road in Manhattan on a Riley County District Court warrant for two counts of probation violation.

Riley County Police officials said Phillips’ arrest stems from original charges of arson and reckless driving.
Phillips was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remained in the Riley County on Thursday morning, officials said.
