A 48-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, June 3rd, and is currently being held on a $1 million bond in Manhattan.
The Riley County District Court warrant was issued for an alleged probation violation related to his release on a $125,000 bond in February.
The underlying case stems from allegations filed in February 2026 where Marchand was charged with distribution of heroin and methamphetamine; three additional distribution counts involving opiates, narcotics, or stimulants; possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, manufacture, plant, or cultivate controlled substances; possession of heroin and cannabinoids; criminal use of a weapon; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All alleged crimes happened within 1000 feet of a school.
