STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is investigating a reported burglary at a Woodrow residence Friday, according to authorities.

Officers responded to a 911 call of a burglary reported on Lamont Avenue between Vernon and Ellsworth avenues at approximately 12 a.m., according to police.

Police say two male suspects gained entry through a side door that was left unlocked.

The perpetrators fled on foot, according to a spokesperson for the NYPD.

The NYPD did not immediately provide information on what, if anything, was taken.

No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
