Six people were injured in a stabbing inside Penn Station in Midtown on Sunday evening, according to the FDNY.
The incident was reported around 7:02 p.m. at West 33rd Street and Seventh Avenue, the FDNY said. Emergency responders were told that a person had stabbed multiple people at the location.
FDNY officials said six civilians were taken to Bellevue Hospital. One person suffered serious injuries, two had moderate injuries and three suffered minor injuries.
The suspect was taken into custody, according to the FDNY.
The FDNY did not immediately provide additional details about what led to the stabbing.
