My wife loves wings. Like, seriously obsessed. So welcome back to another episode of Wings With My Wife! Today, we are hitting up Namkeen in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, because we heard rumors about a dish that is an absolute game-changer. They are serving up spicy maple fried chicken wings, and we had to see if the hype was real.

Spoiler alert: It is.

The Spicy Maple Masterpiece

We ordered a basket, and the second they hit the table, we knew we were in for something special. These wings are glistening. They are completely drenched in a sticky, sweet maple glaze that coats every single nook and cranny of the crispy skin.

Rebecca took the first bite, and you could literally hear the crunch. Her reaction said it all. She practically died and went to wing heaven right then and there.

This isn’t just your standard sweet sauce. It is a complex balance of flavors. You get that rich, sugary punch from the maple syrup, but then the heat sneaks up on you. It has a serious kick. It is sticky. It is sweet. It is spicy. Every single bite is packed with an insane amount of flavor.

Then it was my turn. I mean, look at the size of this wing. It is absolutely elite.

We decided to pair it with their house-made chipotle aioli for the ultimate taste test. I took a massive dunk into the sauce and went to town. Cheers.

The creaminess of the aioli cuts through the intense sweetness of the maple, while adding a nice smoky layer to the heat. The crunch on these wings is unreal. Even after being tossed in that heavy glaze, the skin stays perfectly crispy. The meat inside is shockingly tender and bursting with juices.

These are hands-down some of our absolute favorite wings in all of New York City. If you are a wing lover, you need to get to Williamsburg immediately.
