A 41-year-old man was critically wounded in a shooting aboard a Bx36 bus in Parkchester.
Officers responded to East Tremont Avenue and White Plains Road just after 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Crime scene tape surrounded the bus as officers collected evidence.
The NYPD says the man was shot in the abdomen.
Paramedics rushed him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he is fighting for his life.
News 12 reached out to the MTA and is awaiting a response.
