Plocharczyk, who lives on the 33rd floor of 555TEN at 10th Avenue and W40th Street, faces the roads and ramps leading in and out of the Lincoln Tunnel, where construction is underway as part of the Port Authority’s decade-long effort to replace the aging Midtown Bus Terminal. Current work includes building a platform over Dyer Avenue that will serve as a staging area for the next phase of construction.
