MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Riley County police were continuing to investigate the unattended of a man whose body was discovered Monday morning in the restroom of a Manhattan park.
Officers responded to a report of an unattended death at approximately 8:28 a.m. Monday at a restroom near the splash pad at Manhattan City Park, located in the 1100 block of Fremont Street.
Riley County police said a 49-year-old man was found dead in a public restroom at the park.

The case remained under investigation on Tuesday, but Riley County Police officials said there was “no reason to believe there was any other party involved in the man’s death.”
