Woman sentenced for assault on New York State Trooper

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — A woman is heading to prison after pleading guilty to assaulting a New York State Trooper.

Leslie Dimaya has been sentenced to shock probation, which consists of six months in prison, followed by five years of probation supervision.

According to prosecutors, Dimaya injured a trooper in January while they responded to a domestic incident involving Dimaya.
