DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — THE BROOKLYN RENT GUIDELINES BOARD hearing takes place on Thursday from 6-10 p.m. at The Theater at City Tech NYC College of Technology, 275 Jay St., Downtown Brooklyn. Just one hearing is held in each borough. The Rent Guidelines Board decides whether the rents of more than 2 million New Yorkers living in rent stabilized units increase, decrease or stay the same.
The Mayor’s Office of Mass Engagement and advocacy groups encourage as many New Yorkers as possible to testify at these hearings and have their voices heard in the decisions that impact them.
