It’s that magical time of year again! It is deer hunting season in New York State! The rut is on, and hunters across the Empire State are out in the woods hoping to cross paths with a big buck that’s tracking, seeking, or following a doe. There’s something truly special about being outdoors this time of year. It’s all about crisp mornings, quiet woods, and the anticipation that every sound could mean a deer nearby.
For a couple of friends here in Western New York, this deer season became even more memorable when both of them had successful hunts on the same day!
There’s nothing better than hunting with friends and family. Whether or not you tag a deer, the real reward is the time spent together and sharing laughs, stories, and moments you’ll remember for years. But when you’re lucky enough to take home a couple of nice bucks, it’s definitely an added bonus.
These two hunters were able to harvest beautiful Western New York whitetail bucks, true trophies of the season.

The Full Story About The Hunt
I reached out the Deer Tippin TV crew about this big day and they sent back a description of the hunt that will also be featured in a future episode on their social and Youtube channels.

Justin just got done hanging a his new stand minutes before his buck stepped out into the field. He was making some noise while hanging it up and didnt think he would see much but decided to hunt from it the rest of the evening. He then used his own mouth grunt and grunted the buck into 25 yards and then he let him have it, double lung.

Ryan had been after his buck for 3 weeks and actually shot at it 2 weeks ago but his xbow malfunctioned and it blew up inside his blind! Luckily he was alright. He got another chance at him on Sunday and made the shot count this time. Double lung at 30 yards.
A big thanks goes out to the crew at Deer Tippin’ TV for allowing us to share their incredible story. Hopefully, their success inspires you to get out and make your own memories this New York deer hunting season. Good luck, stay safe, and enjoy every moment in the woods!
