Construction is underway for a new affordable housing development in East Harlem.
The mixed-use development will create 341 affordable units and a new community arts center. The project is funded in part by Goldman Sachs.
It comes ahead of the firm’s annual Sprint Day, which mobilizes employees in 12 cities to give back for an annual mass volunteering event.
Asahi Pompey, global head of corporate engagement and chair of the Urban Investment Group at Goldman Sachs, joined “The Rush Hour” to chat about it on Friday.
