A Marriott-branded hotel will open inside the still-under-construction Imperial Tower, which recently secured $220 million in new financing. The 56-story mixed-use Imperial Tower, at the corner of John F. Kennedy Blvd. and Cottage Street — on the former Pep Boys lot — will add 34,105 square feet of retail space, plus 542 units of housing to the Journal Square community. The Marriott component will have 154 rooms.
