Nelly Korda flew from Midland, Michigan, to New York City for a Monday morning appearance on NBC’s ‘Today’ show. The LPGA world No. 1 is the first U.S. Women’s Open winner invited to appear on the show since Michelle Wie West won the championship in 2014.
Korda, a four-time major winner and Olympic gold medalist, appeared shortly after segments that featured summer travel tips, the former makeup mogul Scott Vincent Borba, who joined the priesthood, and actress Zoey Deutch.
Host Dylan Dreyer, who plays regularly in the LPGA’s season-opening Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, began the segment by asking Korda what she was feeling over the short putt that nearly missed on the 72nd hole.
“Absolutely nothing,” said Korda. “I could not feel my hands. I did not feel anything in my body.”
Dreyer also asked Korda to take a look at a video of her swing and offer tips.

“Well, one, you’re in the rough, c’mon!” joked Korda, who then offered a tip on Dreyer’s swing path.
Korda teamed up with good friend Olivia Cowan for last week’s Dow Championship. The “Legally Blonde” duo took a share of 17th.
After her Riviera Country Club triumph, Korda became the first player to win the first two majors of the season since Inbee Park in 2013, and the first American to win the first two majors since Pat Bradley in 1986.
Nike styled three outfits for Korda’s day in New York City, which included a stop at CNBC.
Korda will tee it up next week at the KPMG Women’s PGA at Hazeltine, where she’ll try to win a three major title in 2026 and enter the LPGA Hall of Fame.
