NYPD Inspector Igor Pinkhasov, who was newly assigned as Executive Officer (XO) of Patrol Borough Queens North, had a Mezuzah affixed to his office door this week by Community leader Rabbi Chanina Sperlin.

He was joined by close friend and noted Family Law attorney Daniel B. Nottes, Esq., also a friend of Chabad, Police Officer Rahman of the 71st Precinct, and Crown Heights Shmira member Schneur Strauss.

Pinkhasov is a proud Jew, who attends Synagogue with his family and is familiar with Orthodox Jewish life, having served as an inspector in the 105th Precinct which includes the area of Ohel Chabad Lubavitch at 22620 Francis Lewis Boulevard in Queens, NY.

He recently served as the interim Inspector at the 71st Precinct in Crown Heights, where he had the first Mezuzah affixed on the offices of the 71st Precinct, which serves the heavily Orthodox Jewish Crown Heights neighborhood.
